Basic Charges?
As a rule of thumb I will recover £290 basic
for each day worked. In addition to this sum will be any extras
which are applicable, such as travel or licenses given for
reproducing images in (for example) a national magazine.
Additional charges?
If after an image is taken you may request
image manipulation over and above the basic sharpening and
balancing, for such works an additional charge of £25
per hour will apply. Rest assured we will conduct the minimum
amount of time processing as is possible and will be relative
to the intended use of that image/s ie. low res for screen,
high res for print.
Why a licence fee?
A photographer retains rights to the images
that he captures. These are called "intellectual rights"
and are protected by law. The license fee is a fee that the
photographer charges you to be able to use a particular image
for a particular purpose. For example, you may wish to use
a photograph for a magazine cover, article, web site or leaflets.
